Long time since we updated this blog, but things have been busy, yet creative & fun!
We've continued our work towards creating entrepreneurship for marginalized communities. The chocolate balls keep continuing to be a success at the Nepali markets and we sell out every time we go there.
Today we're getting our own production room where we will start teaching women to make bags out of re-used saaris. We also provide these women with knowledge in how to start their own business, math- & english skills and how to be creative. Our vision is to empower these women and to give them courage and knowledge so that they can start their own business. The profit of the bags goes in to a saving account which the women get access to when their one year contract ends.
